Editorial Policy

Mission
TruPeptide exists to give people clear, honest, independent information about peptide compounds, the clinics and vendors that provide them, and the regulatory landscape that governs them.
We don't sell peptides. We don't take money from vendors or clinics to influence what we say about them. We don't have a position on whether peptides are good or bad — we have a position on whether information is accurate or not.
Independence Commitments
- We do not sell, distribute, or facilitate the purchase of any peptides or pharmaceutical products.
- We do not accept payment from vendors or clinics to influence rankings, trust scores, or editorial content.
- We do not participate in affiliate programs or receive commissions from any listed entity.
- Any sponsored or partnered content is clearly and prominently labeled. Editorial control remains with TruPeptide.
- Trust scores are calculated from verified data — COA verification, independent lab results, and community reviews. Every score is transparent and auditable. No entity can pay to change their score.
Content Standards
All content published on TruPeptide adheres to the following standards:
- Compound profiles present both the evidence for potential benefits and the known risks of every compound. We do not advocate for or against any specific peptide.
- We cite primary sources — published research (PubMed), FDA regulatory documents, and official agency communications. Claims are attributed to their sources.
- We use precise language. "Research suggests" and "animal studies indicate" are not the same as "proven" or "effective." We distinguish between human clinical trial data and preclinical evidence.
- FDA regulatory status is tracked in real time and updated as soon as official actions are published. We clearly label the status of each compound: FDA Approved, Category 1, Pending PCAC Review, Category 2, Investigational, or Unregulated.
- We correct errors promptly and transparently. If content is updated after publication, the update is noted with a date.
Medical Disclaimer
TruPeptide is an educational and informational platform. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. The information on this site is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting, changing, or discontinuing any peptide therapy or medical treatment.
Trust Score Methodology
Trust scores for vendors and clinics are calculated from a weighted combination of objective, verifiable data:
- COA verification — purity data, testing frequency, lab independence (40%)
- Third-party lab purity data (30%)
- Community reviews (20%)
- Operational transparency (10%)
Trust scoring is currently in development. Methodology details will be published in full when the system launches.
